Hi, I actually live just over the Dorset border in south Somerset - the Somerton & Frome Constituency where the sitting MP is the Liberal Democrat David Heath. Although he is a pretty good MP I would prefer to vote Labour, however Labour are a poor third here and this is a Lib-Dem marginal - David Heath's majority over the Conservatives in 2001 was only 668. Consequently, I welcome the opportunity to vote-swap with a Lib-Dem supporter in the Dorset South constituency, where I would particularly like to see the sitting Labour MP, Jim Knight, re-elected. Any willing swappers?

Many thanks,
Terry.

I'm not in s dorset, but if you get no other replies, me or my partner may be willing to vote swap with you. We are in Lancaster and Wyre which is the 14th lab marginal. Please reply by 6pm. I have posted other replies so its the first to get back to me, really. Thanks and good luck. CG.

Hi CG,

Many thanks for your reply. If you are still available for a vote swap then I am still un-partnered, as is my wife!

Lancaster and Wyre sounds good - if my wife and I both vote Lib Dem in Somerton & Frome (Lib Dem/Tory marginal) then we would be very grateful if you and/or your partner could please vote Labour in your constituency. Many thanks. We will be going out to vote at about 7pm this evening.

If any Lib Dems in South Dorset are reading this then please, I beg you, vote for your sitting Labour MP, Jim Knight. He is a good bloke and a good MP who deserves a break!

Best wishes and many thanks to all (including Billy Bragg for initiating this website).

Terry.

sorry to say cons won here by c 70 votes. Overall I think the result was quite a good reflection of our feelings, though. Thanks for the swap ! I would do it again, I think. Best wishes, unknown friends! CG.
